How To Make Beautiful Rangoli at Diwali?

Diwali, also known as the “festival of lights,” is a five-day Hindu festival that celebrates the victory of good over evil. A key part of the Diwali celebration is the creation of beautiful rangolis and rangoli design, which are designs made from colored powder or sand that are typically placed in front of homes and businesses.

Rangoli is a colourful, design-like decoration that is made on the floor of a home or business. It is most often seen during Diwali. Rangoli are traditionally made using a combination of powdered colours, rice or sand, and flower petals.

On Diwali, the night of lights, we make Rangoli to welcome guests and to brighten up our homes.

The simplest way to make a rangoli is by using a plain array of flour, salt, and water. Simply mix the ingredients together until they form a dough, then use your hands to shape the dough into any desired shapes. Once you’ve finished shaping the dough, cover it in a layer of powdered sugar and let it dry out for several hours. You can then place the rangolis on a plate or sheet of paper and decorate them.

Rangoli at diwali can be simple or complex, and often feature geometric patterns or images of Hindu deities. The making of rangolis is thought to bring good luck and prosperity, and they are often seen as a form of worship. If you’re interested in making your own diwali rangoli, here are a few tips on how to do it.
